Registration Specialist

About the role

The Registration Specialist acts as the custodian of student academic records, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements, and delivering official transcripts and letters. The role also supports the registration, scheduling and student information system processes within the Office of the Registrar.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and clean electronic student records in the SIS, applying business rules and ensuring audit‑readiness.
• Produce official transcripts, enrolment verification, graduation letters and liaison with the Ministry of Education for equivalency and attestation.
• Assist students and faculty with registration queries, add/drop requests and schedule adjustments.
• Support design, configuration and continuous improvement of the student information system, including process mapping and SOP creation.
• Provide accurate communications and policy advice to students and faculty, handling complaints and advising on academic standing.
• Manage daily office operations, visitor reception, ID card issuance and support special projects or events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (post‑graduate preferred).
• Minimum five years of customer‑facing administrative experience, including at least two years in higher‑education administration.
• Proven ability to interpret and advise on complex policies and regulatory requirements.
• Strong written communication, organization, time‑management and project‑management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred; experience working in the UAE is an advantage.
