Relationship Banking Officer

About the role

ADCB is hiring a Relationship Banking Officer in Dubai, within its Group Business Services (GBS) team. The role combines customer advisory, branch counter operations and compliance, supporting customer satisfaction, retention and long-term relationship value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide banking support to walk-in and assigned customers, understanding their financial needs and handling both financial and non-financial requests
• Build and sustain customer relationships through professional interactions, needs-based conversations and timely follow-ups
• Perform cash and non-cash counter transactions accurately, within agreed turnaround times and in line with approved procedures and controls
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheques and other branch banking services, and escalate discrepancies and exceptions to the back office
• Follow KYC, AML, sanctions and regulatory requirements, apply dual-control processes, and report suspicious activity and control weaknesses
• Adhere to organizational policies, SOPs and the ADCB service standards in all customer interactions

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in branch banking, retail banking operations or customer service in a banking or financial services environment, with exposure to customer transactions, branch operations, service delivery and regulatory and compliance requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related discipline
• Experience in branch banking operations, cash and non-cash transaction processing, customer relationship management, retail banking products and operational risk awareness including KYC and AML

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Interpersonal, multitasking and time management skills
