Relationship Officer - Payroll Banking

About the role

ADIB Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is hiring a Relationship Officer for its ADIB@Work outsource programme in Abu Dhabi. The purpose of the role is to build strong relationships with key contacts in targeted sectors and segments to source payroll salaried accounts and cross-sell asset products such as Covered Cards and Personal Finances, in line with bank policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing payroll accounts and achieving or exceeding the assigned monthly targets.
• Cross-selling Covered Cards and Personal Finance products and meeting assigned targets.
• Building relationships with HR, finance and admin departments of government entities, multinationals, large and medium corporates, new establishments and free zones.
• Running marketing, kiosk and onboarding sessions with targeted employers to promote ADIB products.
• Visiting potential employers and clients to finalise deals within the required turnaround time.
• Preparing and reviewing credit applications, checking documents such as bank statements, passports, EIDs and salary certificates, and following the approval process.
• Processing the products, preparing files according to the checklist and sharing them with coordinators within 24 hours of signing.
• Escalating customer complaints and delays, and maintaining good inter-departmental rapport.

Required profile

• Multi-products sales and payroll or employee banking experience.
• Good knowledge of retail banking service standards, sales skills and computer skills.
• General awareness of local and regional competitors.
• Driving licence.
