Remote Graphic Designer (Branding & Packaging)

About the role

Magnet Media, an award-winning creative agency in Dubai with 8 years of experience building brands across 18 countries, is hiring a full-time, remote Graphic Designer with packaging experience. The role covers packaging design from concept to print-ready files, branding and identity, and social media and catalogue design. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Dubai time.

Key responsibilities

• Packaging design from concept to print-ready files, including boxes, labels, bottles, bags and other product packaging
• Think through the full packaging process: structure, dielines, materials, finishes, printing methods and how the final product will be produced and used
• Branding and brand identity design, including logos, style guides and consistent brand materials
• Create social media content, including graphics, layouts and animations for different platforms
• Design catalogues, company profiles and reports with a focus on layout, structure and visual consistency

Required profile

• Proven packaging design experience with examples in the portfolio; packaging work should be included
• Understanding of packaging materials, finishes and print production (dielines, bleed, CMYK, Pantone, foiling, embossing)
• Ability to explain the reasoning behind design and material choices
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Comfortable with both digital and print work, with strong knowledge of typography, composition and colour theory
• Ability to handle multiple projects while keeping attention to detail; no degree required
• Plus: direct experience with printers or packaging suppliers, 3D mockups or packaging visualisation, and knowledge of video editing or motion graphics
