Remote Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support our client’s commercial real estate and energy legal teams. The contractor will assist in drafting, reviewing and managing transaction documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law, including regulatory compliance and due‑diligence matters.
• Maintain and organise transactional documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Keep records of legal correspondence and documents for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis.
