Renewables Engineer (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

DNV's Renewables team in Dubai, part of the Renewables department in the SEMELA region, is looking for a qualified Renewable Engineer for its Technical Services under Renewables, Energy Systems. The engineer works alongside other technical professionals in the Energy Systems group to deliver technical consulting and support business development, reporting to the Renewables Team Lead Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Support the technical team in delivering services to existing customers and support bid managers preparing proposals in the Middle East.
• Learn technical aspects of solar PV, BESS and wind plants through involvement in some projects.
• Help with proposal preparation, including formatting Word documents and preparing PowerPoint presentations.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mathematical, Civil Engineering or an equivalent field from a recognised university.
• Experience or interest in renewables, power generation, power system design or a related field, with a primarily electrical or civil engineering capacity, is an advantage.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic, French and Spanish are an advantage.
• Good quantitative and analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented, positive attitude and open mindset.
• UAE nationals only.
