Reporting and Data Lead – Project Controls

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Reporting and Data Lead to drive data‑driven decision‑making across its Energy & Natural Resources projects in Dubai. This strategic leadership position will shape reporting frameworks and analytics capabilities for mining, oil & gas, power, energy and utilities operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain reporting systems and real‑time dashboards for key business metrics.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, optimise operations and support strategic planning.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of BI platforms and data management tools.
• Manage data projects from conception through delivery, meeting quality and timeline targets.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in reporting, data analytics or project controls.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and present insights to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Expert‑level knowledge of Power BI or equivalent BI platforms.
• Data visualisation and dashboard development.
• Statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
• Data governance, data quality management and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
