Reporting & Consolidation Manager - Corporate Finance

About the role

Ali & Sons seeks an experienced Reporting & Consolidation Manager to lead Group financial reporting, consolidation and closing across a diversified portfolio. This role goes beyond number‑crunching, connecting data, challenging details and strengthening governance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing, reporting and consolidation cycles for the Group.
• Own Group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, adjustments and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure accurate, timely, IFRS‑compliant reporting across all entities.
• Review business‑unit submissions, challenge variances and maintain data integrity.
• Act as the Group reference for IFRS, accounting policies and complex transactions.
• Support assessments for restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and other significant events.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary for senior leadership decisions.
• Partner with finance teams, auditors and business leaders to resolve reporting and audit matters.
• Strengthen reporting governance, controls and data quality.
• Drive automation, system enhancements and process improvements.
• Lead, develop and build the capability of the Reporting & Consolidation team.

Required profile

• 8+ years experience in finance, accounting, audit or financial control, with at least 5 years in Group reporting, consolidation or related areas.
• Experience in a diversified, multi‑entity or multinational Group preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, financial consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage senior stakeholders and deliver under demanding reporting cycles.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a focus on simplifying and automating processes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
