Research Assistant – Business & Entrepreneurship

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to support academic projects in entrepreneurship, family business, and management. The role involves assisting senior researchers with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings within a university setting in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative research, including designing surveys, interviews, and data collection protocols.
• Assist in preparing manuscripts, journal submissions, and conference presentations.
• Coordinate with students, scholars, entrepreneurs, and professionals to gather primary data.
• Manage research documentation, maintain databases, and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
• Support administrative tasks related to research projects and grant reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Business, Management or a related discipline from an accredited university approved by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• Strong knowledge of entrepreneurship and business fundamentals; prior research in family business is a plus.
• Published papers in Business, Family Business Management, or Entrepreneurship.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Preference for candidates already residing in the UAE.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one qualitative or quantitative research method.
