Research Director, Advisors Research Center

About the role

The Advisors Research Center (ARC) at Mastercard is building a new capability to provide high‑quality research support for its global clients. As the Research Director for the EEMEA region, you will lead the translation of ARC’s research outputs into commercial value, shaping strategy and growth for the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that align ARC’s research insights with client needs across the EEMEA market.
• Bridge the gap between research teams and commercial units to ensure research findings drive business outcomes.
• Lead regional research initiatives, oversee project delivery, and ensure high‑quality insights are produced on time.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Data & Services, consulting, and product teams—to integrate data‑driven recommendations into client solutions.
• Manage client relationships, present findings, and support value‑realization activities.
• Monitor market trends in payments, retail, and travel sectors to inform research priorities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in research, analytics, or consulting within the financial services or payments industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of turning insights into revenue‑generating opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across multicultural environments.
• Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams in a fast‑moving, data‑driven setting.
