About the role
Control Risks is seeking a Researcher/Associate Analyst to join its multilingual team in Dubai. You will support the MENA region by delivering political, security and business insights to a global client base.
Key responsibilities
- Produce short‑form analysis and updates for subscription services such as Seerist.
- Develop in‑depth consulting reports, briefings and workshops on market entry, risk assessment and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct primary research trips, attend seminars and build a network of regional sources.
- Collaborate with other analysts and service lines across Control Risks’ global offices.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals and marketing research.
Required profile
- Strong background and enthusiasm for politics, security and business in the Middle East and North Africa.
- Ability to translate complex issues into practical, client‑focused insights.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Resilience under a varied workload and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
