Reservation Agent

About the role

The Meydan Hotel, located at the iconic Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, is seeking a Reservation Agent to manage guest booking inquiries, provide accurate room information, and ensure seamless reservation processes. This role is essential for delivering high‑quality service and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, rates, promotions, and operational standards.
• Handle all incoming reservation calls and guest inquiries following established call flow standards.
• Provide clear information on room types, availability, rates, guarantee, payment, and cancellation policies.
• Apply effective sales techniques, personalize conversations, and recommend alternative dates or sister properties when needed.
• Accurately record reservation details, special requests, and repeat‑guest information in the OPERA property management system.
• Issue confirmation or cancellation numbers and communicate details to guests, offering emailed copies upon request.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience.

• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and ability to convey information confidently.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple reservations accurately.
• Capability to work collaboratively with other departments to support smooth operations.
