Reservations Agent – Arabic Speaker

About the role

The Reservations Agent will handle all inbound reservation requests, changes and cancellations for our Dubai Marina property. This role requires fluent Arabic and English to assist guests, explain policies and ensure a smooth booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications and cancellations received via phone, fax or email.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
• Document special requests and answer questions about hotel facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Code special room types (complimentary, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates, wholesale) correctly.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and uphold guest privacy.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities and use courteous telephone etiquette.
• Support team goals, develop positive working relationships and comply with quality standards.
• Lift, move or carry objects up to 10 lb without assistance and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior reservation or hospitality experience required.
• Fluent Arabic and strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite environment.
• Professional demeanor, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lb.
