About the role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all guest reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations for a luxury hotel in Dubai. You will work directly with guests via phone, fax, or mail, ensuring accurate booking information and delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations while verifying room availability and rates.
Explain guarantee, special rates, and cancellation policies to callers.
Document special requests and accommodate guest needs, including accessibility assistance.
Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and input correct codes for complimentary, discount, or wholesale reservations.
Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
No prior work experience required; entry‑level position.
No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with a reservation system.
Ability to apply sales techniques.
