Reservations Agent – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent is the first point of contact for guests planning their stay at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. You will handle enquiries, secure bookings and provide accurate information to ensure a seamless pre‑arrival experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process individual and group reservations, amendments and cancellations using the hotel reservation system.
• Respond to guest enquiries by phone, email and chat in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Stay updated on room rates, promotions, packages and resort facilities to give accurate advice.
• Upsell rooms and recommend suitable options to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Handle reservations received from travel agencies, wholesalers and sales teams.
• Provide information about the resort, local attractions and travel directions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Front Office and other departments to ensure guest requirements are communicated correctly.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, daily logs and reports in line with hotel standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reservations or front office, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Strong communication skills with a warm, professional and guest‑focused approach.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Good reading, writing and basic maths abilities.
• Confidence using computers and entering reservation data accurately.
