About the role
The Reservations Agent (VAJ) will manage all room reservation inquiries, ensuring guests receive accurate information on rates, packages, and promotions. This position supports the department’s goal of maximising customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
Key responsibilities
- Handle reservation requests via telephone, fax, email, and internet in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate information on rates, packages, and promotional offers.
- Maintain adherence to reservation scripts, email etiquette, and quality standards.
- Support financial targets by contributing to individual and team performance metrics.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in room reservations, preferably in a call‑centre environment.
- High school diploma required; college degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
- Certificate in telephone skills and customer service is an advantage.
- Strong operational, financial, and quality performance awareness.
