Reservoir Engineering Manager

About the role

The Reservoir Engineering Manager leads the reservoir engineering team within a multidisciplinary subsurface group, driving field development planning and ensuring optimal resource recovery across the company’s asset portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead field development planning (FDP) and integration of subsurface data, reservoir simulation, and economic evaluation.
• Oversee preparation, validation, and submission of FDPs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, partners, and regulatory standards.
• Guide reservoir characterization projects, including PVT, well tests, pressure surveillance, and core data acquisition.
• Monitor reservoir performance, develop continuous monitoring plans, and support cash‑flow modelling and NPV/IRR assessments.
• Mentor and coach the reservoir engineering community and recommend improvements to departmental policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in reservoir engineering and field development planning.
• Proven leadership and ability to communicate complex reservoir behavior to multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering auditable, value‑maximised development plans for oil and gas assets.
