About the role
The Resident Engineer Civil will lead the civil engineering portfolio for a 400kV transmission lines project in Abu Dhabi, ensuring technical, HSE and financial performance meet client expectations. This role involves close site supervision, coordination with the client (TRANSCO) and management of multiple stakeholder interfaces.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the civil engineering scope of the 400kV transmission lines project, overseeing technical, HSE and financial aspects.
- Supervise complex on‑site works for the client (TRANSCO) and handle customer interface management.
- Ensure construction strictly follows approved designs, report and clear any non‑conformances.
- Plan, organise and supervise engineering and construction inspection activities.
- Conduct close‑out and verification of installed quantities.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Preferable experience with utilities such as Transco, ADDC, DEWA.
