Restaurant General Manager - Couqley French Brasserie

About the role

Couqley is an award-winning French brasserie in Downtown Dubai offering a premium-casual dining experience with a year-round al fresco terrace and interiors designed by artist Ana D'Castro. Accor is looking for a Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, keeping service standards and operational excellence at the heart of everything.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, placing guest and employee experience at the centre of every decision.
• Work closely with the Assistant Restaurant General Manager and Bar Manager to develop initiatives, promotions and incentives that improve guest satisfaction, team engagement and revenue.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the reservation, booking and guest profiling systems to optimise guest experience and commercial performance.
• Build strong collaboration between Front of House and Back of House teams for seamless communication and efficient service.
• Gather guest feedback, identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
• Plan and deliver regular training, coaching, performance feedback and daily briefings so all team members meet brand standards.
• Inspire and develop the team to achieve business objectives in a positive, high-performing workplace.

Required profile

• A track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens and bars.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy environment.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced setting and a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Fluent English and French strongly preferred.
