Restaurant Hostess

About the role

Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER, a UAE-based retail group that owns several F&B concepts, is hiring a Restaurant Hostess in Dubai. The hostess is the first point of contact for customers and sets the tone for their dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations using the online system and be comfortable with the CRM system.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Answer phone calls according to company standard procedures.
• Pass on allergy information and other guest requests to the service staff.
• Show guests to their tables, introduce them to the concept and accommodate special seating requests where possible.
• Know the menu items, ingredients and recommendations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm and handle stressful situations.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems.
• Comfort with the company's CRM system.
