Restaurant Manager - Pizza (Italian Concept)

About the role

Kitopi, a food-tech company behind a portfolio of invested and franchised F&B brands, is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of its Italian-style pizza restaurant. The manager ensures smooth operations, maintains high service standards, drives sales and profitability, and leads the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and lead, coach and motivate the restaurant team
• Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness and guest experience
• Monitor sales, costs, wastage and profitability, and drive sales through upselling, promotions and customer engagement
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance and manpower needs
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and resolve them promptly
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards
• Monitor inventory, stock movement and wastage, and maintain equipment and facilities
• Prepare and review operational reports on sales, labour and inventory
• Coordinate with kitchen, central operations, supply chain and other teams
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee engagement
• Implement company policies, SOPs and procedures, and conduct regular inspections

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in restaurant, café or hospitality operations, with significant managerial experience
• Experience in burger or QSR concepts is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and front-of-house service
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and basic operational reporting
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
