Restaurant Manager – Rush Sports Bar

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations of the Rush Sports Bar lounge, ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and profitability. The role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and supporting menu development while maintaining guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bar/lounge shift operations, enforce beverage policies, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal liquor laws.
• Manage inventory control, including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, and cost analysis.
• Monitor budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports to achieve or exceed financial targets.
• Train and supervise staff on liquor control, service standards, and safety procedures.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and promote continuous improvement in service quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Business with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control inventory, and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of beverage control, inventory management, and cost‑control techniques.
• Experience with budgeting, payroll oversight, and financial reporting.
