Retail Partnerships Lead

About the role

Lead the Lifestyle & Localization Partnerships vertical within Etihad Guest, shaping the retail and lifestyle proposition of the airline’s loyalty programme. The role drives customer engagement, brand affinity and revenue through strategic non‑air redemption and accrual partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement loyalty strategies that integrate retail and lifestyle benefits, expanding the non‑air redemption portfolio such as Reward Shop and Etihad GuestPay.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with retail, travel and lifestyle brands, monitoring performance against commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, technology, data analytics and IT teams to create seamless loyalty experiences and increase programme awareness.
• Lead and mentor a team of loyalty specialists, fostering a results‑driven culture to meet divisional goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in loyalty programme management, customer engagement or strategic partnerships, preferably in airline or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of retail, travel (hotel & car rental) and lifestyle sectors and their integration into loyalty programmes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms.
• Experience using data analytics tools.
• Familiarity with loyalty software solutions.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
