Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

The Sales Assistant drives store sales while ensuring a welcoming and clean shopping environment. You will engage customers, provide accurate product information, and support visual and housekeeping standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and visual presentation to create a sparkling, organized environment.
• Greet every customer with a sincere, energetic welcome and adhere to the dress code.
• Provide up‑to‑date product information and assist customers in fitting rooms, following up promptly to encourage additional purchases.
• Operate the cash wrap efficiently, offer gift cards, keep the checkout area tidy, and record customer data in the store database.
• Thank customers sincerely and invite them to return as they leave.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and perform occasional heavy lifting.
• Strong verbal communication and customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Experience using customer information systems.
