Retail Sales Assistant – Market Hall

About the role

The Sales Assistant will work in the market hall area of IKEA Jebel Ali, delivering a positive customer experience while driving sales. You will support daily store operations, maintain a tidy sales floor, and help achieve weekly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and uphold IKEA visual standards.
• Greet customers promptly, provide product information, and assist with purchases.
• Meet or exceed weekly sales targets set by the shopkeeper.
• Participate in inventory counts and attend all store meetings.
• Follow IKEA policies, procedures, and dress code at all times.
• Assist with product arrangement, stock handling, and other duties assigned by the shopkeeper.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and friendly demeanor.
• Physical ability to lift products and stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
