About the role
Cigna Global Healthcare Benefits is expanding in the Middle East and seeks a Risk and Underwriting Analyst to join its Dubai team. Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, you will conduct risk analysis, rate development and pricing for SME and large corporate health insurance plans.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate, price and build insurance plans aligned with market strategy.
- Analyse renewal portfolios, work with sales, brokers and clients to implement rating actions.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, balancing profitability, persistency and growth.
- Conduct analytical reviews to identify trends and insights for portfolio management.
- Collaborate with finance, actuarial, operations and clinical teams to ensure effective pricing and compliance.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience with strong numeracy and analytical mindset.
- Ability to make quick, commercially sensible decisions and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent English communication skills and high professional integrity.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Data analytics and predictive modelling capabilities.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
