Road Safety Coordinator

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Road Safety Coordinator in Dubai to manage and implement road and transport safety requirements, with a strong focus on IVMS data generation, monitoring and reporting. The role supports HSE and transport safety activities and ensures compliance with applicable road safety procedures. It is a permanent position with a 3-month notice period and a 10-hour day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement Road Safety and Transport Safety requirements.
• Monitor and generate IVMS data and reports.
• Conduct HSE and transport safety inductions and awareness sessions for workers.
• Understand and implement Journey Management Plans (JMP).
• Support Transport/Road Safety Risk Assessments.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and check required safety devices.
• Implement Transport Emergency Response Plans and procedures.
• Prepare road safety awareness training materials and maintain road safety and IVMS-related databases.
• Coordinate with HSE, transport and other teams and ensure compliance with ADNOC road safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited higher-learning institution.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, subject to ADNOC Group approval; other HSE certifications may be considered.
• Minimum 2-4 years of overall industry experience, including at least 1 year managing road safety activities.
• Experience with IVMS data generation and reporting; Lead Road Safety Coordinator needs minimum 5 years in road transport safety.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory); IVMS software expertise (mandatory).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of road and transport safety, including H2S and breathing apparatus where applicable.
• Vehicle safety inspection and journey management and emergency response procedures.
• Report preparation and database management.
• Good verbal and written English and strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
