About the role

A Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms and assigned public areas within a hotel or lodging facility. The role involves transforming used guest rooms into pristine, welcoming environments, ensuring complete guest satisfaction and upholding the property’s reputation. Key responsibilities

• Strip and make beds with fresh linens, clean and sanitize bathrooms, and dust or polish all furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop hard floors in guest rooms, corridors, and entryways.
• Replenish bath amenities and room refreshments such as coffee, tea, and minibar items according to brand standards.
• Inspect rooms for damages, lightbulb burnouts, or appliance malfunctions and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Greet guests politely, respond to requests for extra towels or pillows, and handle lost‑and‑found items.
• Stock, organize, and maintain the housekeeping cleaning cart and floor linen closets at the start and end of each shift.
