SABIS Academic Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Khalifa City is seeking a dedicated SABIS Academic Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum and foster academic excellence. You will work within a collaborative environment that emphasizes student achievement, safety, and the SABIS® philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the SABIS® curriculum and Point System™ to support student academic success.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment and uphold the SABIS® image.
• Plan, monitor, and follow up on student progress, coordinating with Student Life and Student Management teams.
• Provide accurate, timely reports to the Academic Quality Controller as required by SABIS® and local authorities.
• Report regularly on student performance, challenges, and recommended actions.
• Teach assigned grade levels or subjects, including homeroom duties and intensive classes.
• Perform non‑instructional duties such as exam proctoring, recess, and lunch supervision.
• Attend required school functions and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in the subject area to be taught (Master’s preferred or required by local regulations).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational and self‑management skills with the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with effective planning and execution.
• Problem‑solving capability and high dependability.
