Sage X3 Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sage X3 Functional Consultant to manage end‑to‑end ERP implementation, enhancement and support projects. The candidate must have strong functional knowledge of Sage X3 and a solid understanding of Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory and related operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and participate in full‑cycle Sage X3 implementation and support projects.
• Conduct requirement‑gathering workshops and analyse existing business processes.
• Perform gap analysis, solution design and configure Sage X3 modules.
• Prepare functional specifications for customisations, reports, interfaces and integrations.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on customisations and integrations.
• Support data migration, master‑data preparation, validation and reconciliation.
• Develop test scenarios and coordinate SIT and UAT with business users.
• Deliver end‑user training and create functional/user documentation.
• Provide go‑live and post‑go‑live support, troubleshoot functional issues and manage change requests.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of ERP functional consulting experience with hands‑on Sage X3.
• Experience in at least two Sage X3 modules (e.g., Finance & Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution, Manufacturing).
• Proven track record of delivering complete ERP implementation lifecycles from requirements gathering to go‑live.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ERP best practices.
• Ability to produce BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, test scripts and training materials.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and client‑facing communication skills.
