Sage X3 Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sage X3 Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Sage X3 development, customization, integration, reporting, and technical support. The role involves collaborating with functional consultants, project managers, and business users to design, develop, and implement scalable technical solutions within the Sage X3 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Sage X3 screens, windows, objects, tables, fields, inquiries, workflows, and reports based on functional requirements.
• Write and maintain Sage X3 programs using 4GL/scripting and create integration solutions with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and import/export templates.
• Design and deliver Crystal Reports and other Sage X3 reporting tools.
• Prepare technical specifications, support data migration, and perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, and post‑go‑live activities.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and performance issues and provide permanent fixes.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of ERP technical consulting/development experience with at least two full‑cycle Sage X3 implementations.
• Strong understanding of finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and client‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional project teams.

Required skills

• Sage X3 4GL / scripting and customization (objects, windows, screens, tables, dictionaries).
• REST and SOAP API integration, web services, import/export templates.
• Crystal Reports, SQL, relational databases, data migration and validation.
• Sage X3 workflows, batch jobs, performance optimization and debugging.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, Git and cloud environments.
