Sales Account Manager – Higher Education

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a Sales Account Manager for Higher Education in Abu Dhabi. The role drives revenue growth by managing a portfolio of institutional accounts, acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships within the university and research ecosystem, acting as a strategic partner that aligns advanced technology solutions with the digital transformation goals of higher education institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of higher education and research accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention and long-term loyalty.
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across technical solutions and infrastructure services.
• Prospect and acquire new institutional customers across the UAE, building a healthy sales pipeline aligned with revenue targets.
• Lead consultative sales conversations to understand complex institutional needs and match them to digital transformation solutions.
• Build high-level relationships with decision-makers such as University Deans, IT Directors and Research Department Heads, and act as the main point of contact for service and account issues.
• Translate customer requirements into internal deliverables with technical, service and support teams, and keep accurate CRM records for forecasting, pipeline management and performance tracking.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• 3-5 years of sales or account management experience, specifically in EdTech or Higher Education.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• Driving licence (UAE) for frequent client site visits.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate long government and institutional sales cycles.
