Sales and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Sales & Marketing Department at The Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah. The role ensures smooth execution of sales activities, brand positioning and guest‑engagement initiatives while upholding the hotel’s heritage‑driven luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties – filing, correspondence, data entry, copying and document control for the Sales & Marketing team.
• Prepare and maintain sales documentation such as proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders, agreements and promotional materials.
• Assemble sales kits, brochures, presentations and client information packages.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data including leads, commissions and third‑party information in the relevant systems.
• Communicate with prospective clients, guests and partners via phone and email to respond to inquiries, promote offers and support follow‑ups.
• Assist with preview packages, site inspections and sales appointments, explaining terms and eligibility.
• Coordinate approved complimentary offerings for guests or clients as part of relationship‑building initiatives.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and guests, answering questions about hotel facilities, rates, packages, dining venues and special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a sales or marketing support role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong organisational ability to manage documentation and data accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and guest interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing team and other hotel departments.
