Sales Assistant – Retail (Toys ‘R’ Us)

About the role
The Sales Assistant will drive sales and ensure every customer enjoys a positive shopping experience at Toys ‘R’ Us. You will maintain store aesthetics, support operational tasks, and embody the brand’s energetic spirit.
Key responsibilities
- Generate sales while delivering excellent customer service.
- Perform operational duties assigned by store management.
- Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards.
- Greet customers promptly with a friendly, non‑businesslike approach.
- Provide up‑to‑date product information and assist in fitting rooms.
- Handle cash‑wrap transactions, promote gift cards, and keep the area tidy.
- Capture and record customer information in the database.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1‑2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and perform some heavy lifting.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CAD and design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
