Sales Assistant - Toys 'R' Us, Zahia City Center

About the role

Toys 'R' Us at Zahia City Center in Dubai is looking for a Sales Assistant. The role drives store sales and delivers excellent customer service in a retail environment, keeping the store clean and well presented, greeting customers promptly and carrying out operational tasks as directed by the store management team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly on entry, give them current product information, thank them sincerely on exit and invite them back.
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner and try to add on to the sale.
• Serve efficiently at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, capture customer information in the database and keep the cash wrap clean.
• Contribute to sales by ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and follow visual presentation standards set by store management.

Required profile

• High school degree.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and perform heavy lifting.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service orientation.
• Organizational skills to maintain store standards.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Ability to use CAD packages to create visuals and plans.
