Sales Executive - Passenger Car Retail

About the role

The Sales Executive contributes to the monthly sales targets so that the team achieves its annual sales and customer satisfaction targets for the passenger car retail business. The role covers the full sales process from sale to handover to the customer, market intelligence and the creation of new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an active customer profile database with accurate customer and vehicle information entered into the Dealer Management System
• Follow the sales process from prospecting, appointments, consultation, presentation, negotiation and trading appraisal of used cars, through to delivery and post-sale follow-up
• Negotiate deals at maximum margin while retaining customers, and collect payments on time to minimise customer credit
• Order vehicles in a timely manner when they are not available, track their arrival and update customers on delays
• Coordinate delivery, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and paperwork, and assist customers with bank and insurance approvals
• Demonstrate the vehicle's features, service, warranty and service centre location at delivery
• Keep an owner follow-up system, display vehicles properly in the showroom and prepare weekly plans, activity and results reports for management

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree, preferably in the automotive industry
• 2 years of sales experience in the automotive industry
• UAE driving licence
• English (and other regional languages including Arabic) written and verbal communication; Arabic is an added advantage
