Sales & Business Development Executive

About the role

dnata Cargo is seeking a Sales & Business Development Executive to promote and sell cargo products and solutions to freight forwarders, cargo agents and other logistics partners. The role focuses on increasing freight revenues and market penetration across the UAE and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement annual sales targets and promotional plans aligned with cargo objectives, and provide recommendations to the Sales Manager.
• Support the design and development of sales and marketing strategies for products, solutions, airlines, agents and 3PL operators.
• Conduct meetings, joint sales calls and telesales activities with airline representatives and customers to generate leads and drive new product adoption.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, operators, charters, brokers and airports to gather market intelligence.
• Compile and analyse cargo volume, revenue and yield data, and present performance insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing.
• 4‑6 years of sales experience within an airline or ground handling environment.
• Strong planning, organising and communication abilities.
• Proficient negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English language proficiency and safety awareness.

Required skills

• Knowledge of airline cargo ratings.
• Data collection and analysis capabilities.
• Computer literacy (office applications, sales tools).
