Sales Coordinator

About the role

The Sales Coordinator supports the sales process at a luxury hotel by communicating client preferences, preparing sales documents, and responding promptly to guest inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Communicates client preferences to cross‑departmental teams
• Reviews and actions special arrangements
• Prepares sales‑related documents throughout the sales process
• Responds promptly to internal and external guest inquiries
• Files internal and external event bookings with required information
• Assists with incoming phone calls and emails, qualifies inquiries and distributes them
• Completes reservations for travel‑agent rates, complimentary stays and site inspections
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with clients and travel‑agency partners
• Greets and assists VIP clients and industry guests visiting the property
• Attends department and property meetings as required

Required profile

• Previous sales experience (luxury hotel experience preferred)
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications; experience with Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office preferred
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and stay highly organized
• Strong initiative, excellent English oral and written communication, and telephone etiquette
• Proven proofreading, editing, and budget/report management skills
• Team player who enjoys client contact
