Sales Coordinator – Oil & Gas Trading

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Sales Coordinator for Oil & Gas Trading to support sales, sourcing and commercial operations in the UAE. The role suits an engineering graduate with 3-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas trading, industrial equipment trading or a related technical-commercial environment. The coordinator acts as a link between customers, suppliers and the internal sales, procurement, finance and logistics teams, and supports the full quotation and order process.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review customer RFQs, technical specifications, quantities, delivery requirements and commercial conditions.
• Identify suitable products, manufacturers and suppliers, and source oilfield and industrial products locally and internationally.
• Request and compare supplier quotations on price, technical compliance, delivery schedule, country of origin, warranty and payment terms.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules and payment terms with suppliers.
• Prepare costing sheets, price comparisons, margin calculations and sales quotations, and estimate based on customer specifications.
• Follow up with customers on quotations, technical clarifications, order status and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, procurement and finance so orders are delivered on time.
• Maintain supplier and customer databases, price records, quotation and order histories, and prepare sales reports, RFQ and quotation trackers.
• Assist with vendor registration and prequalification, and identify alternative suppliers and products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• 3-8 years of experience in Oil & Gas trading, industrial equipment trading or a closely related technical-commercial environment.
• Proven experience in vendor registration and prequalification, preferably with ADNOC, EPC contractors or major Oil & Gas customers.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas products such as valves, piping, fittings, flanges, instrumentation, electrical and rotating equipment.
• Experience dealing with local and international suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Incoterms, international procurement, shipping and commercial documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and manage multiple RFQs.
