Sales Engineer - Generators

About the role

Al Marwan Group, founded in 1978 and active across the construction, heavy machinery, oil & gas, real estate, development and hospitality sectors in the GCC, is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive generator sales, develop new business and strengthen customer relationships across the UAE market. The position is based in Sharjah and requires strong technical knowledge of generators, proven sales experience and the ability to hit sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve generator sales targets across the UAE.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare sales quotations based on customer requirements, technical specifications and market pricing.
• Follow up on enquiries, negotiate commercial terms and convert opportunities into orders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer demand to spot opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams so customer enquiries are answered quickly and sales are executed effectively.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer information and sales pipeline reports.

Required profile

• 3 to 8 years of experience in generator sales, with proven exposure to the UAE market.
• Proven experience in business development, quotation preparation, commercial negotiations and sales closing.
• Established customer relationships and a good understanding of the UAE generator market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented and able to work independently.
