About the role
The Sales Engineer will manage relationships and develop business strategies for less complex accounts across the UAE/GCC region, and may support larger accounts alongside senior managers. The role focuses on selling power generation products and solutions to data centre and oil & gas customers, driving revenue growth and expanding existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, manage and maintain business relationships with assigned accounts in line with the company’s sales strategy.
- Identify new business opportunities, support cost‑reduction initiatives and expand sales of products and services to existing clients.
- Lead communication with customers, negotiate and implement contracts, and manage production and distribution issues.
- Act as the voice of the customer, measure satisfaction and create action plans for improvement.
- Handle accounts receivable, discuss and negotiate payment terms, and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Drive Six Sigma customer‑focus initiatives and cross‑business‑unit account development.
- Balance inventory, service and delivery capabilities with customer expectations.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of sales experience in power generation, preferably within data centre or oil & gas segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong background that combines engineering knowledge with sales and contract management.
- Good understanding of the UAE/GCC market; UAE driving licence preferred.
