Sales Executive - Early Shift
cognitapeople · Dubai
Job description
About the role
Cognita, a global family of over 90 schools across 21 countries, is growing its centralised Sales Hub in Dubai and is looking for a Sales Executive to support prospective families considering its schools in Asia. This is a proactive, target-driven sales position, not a traditional admissions administrator role: you will be the first point of contact for families, guiding them from enquiry through application and enrolment with a premium, personal experience.
Key responsibilities
- Own the family journey from enquiry to application and enrolment, managing a high-volume pipeline across phone, email, WhatsApp and other channels
- Qualify families by understanding their relocation plans, educational needs, preferred start dates and decision-making criteria
- Hold consultative sales conversations, spot buying signals, handle objections and follow up with a disciplined cadence
- Prioritise high-intent, time-sensitive enquiries, support outbound campaigns and re-engage historic enquiries and incomplete applications
- Meet enrolment, conversion and activity targets
- Deliver a personalised, premium parent experience, respond within agreed service levels and escalate concerns where appropriate
- Coordinate with school teams on tours, virtual meetings and assessments, ensure handovers between the hub and schools, and support Open Days and events
- Maintain accurate CRM records, use dashboards to manage performance and share insights with schools and Marketing
Required profile
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proven sales, admissions, account management or relationship management experience with a strong track record of hitting commercial targets
- Significant customer service experience, ideally in a premium, high-touch environment
- Comfortable on the phone with a high volume of calls and follow-ups, and highly organised
- Culturally aware and confident engaging international families
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across locations, with flexibility for early shifts (typically 4:00am to 8:00am UAE time) and possible weekend work and travel
Required skills
- Sales pipeline management in a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
- Strong written communication by email and digital channels
Desirable: experience in international schools or education admissions, and knowledge of the Singapore or wider Asian education market. The role supports Asian markets from Dubai, so early starts are essential.
