Sales Executive - Healthcare Event Portfolio

About the role

dmg events is hiring a Sales Executive for its Healthcare Event Portfolio in Dubai. The role drives sponsorship and exhibition revenue growth through business development, account management and consultative sales across assigned events, including identifying new opportunities, managing existing clients, meeting revenue targets and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to meet revenue targets and grow the portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with exhibitors, sponsors and industry stakeholders to maximise retention and repeat business.
• Carry out market research, competitor analysis and trend monitoring to find new opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with event objectives and commercial strategy.
• Research, qualify and manage leads through the CRM system, keeping pipeline reporting and forecasting accurate.
• Work with marketing, production, operations and sponsorship teams on customer targeting and event delivery.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial agreements and secure win-win outcomes.
• Attend events where relevant to re-sign or gain commitment from sponsors and exhibitors for the next year, and represent the business at industry events, meetings and exhibitions.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B sponsorship, exhibition or event sales, preferably in healthcare, medical or a similar vertical.
• Strong sales, negotiation and account management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Customer-focused, results-oriented, proactive, collaborative and able to work under pressure.
