About the role

Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive revenue across the leisure segment, including groups and FITs. You will represent the brand’s strategy in the marketplace and work closely with operational teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and articulate the Avani Ibn Battuta Hotel brand strategy and positioning.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Avani product offerings, competitor rates, and industry trends.
• Strategically manage personal sales activities, focusing on high‑potential accounts.
• Review account performance versus potential and suggest improvements.
• Establish new client contacts and assess revenue potential.
• Achieve personal financial and non‑financial performance objectives.
• Participate in client familiarisation trips, site inspections, sales trips and roadshows.
• Collaborate with operational colleagues to ensure accurate delivery of the hotel promise.
• Drive upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain accurate management reporting and team action planning.

• Proactive approach to professional development, including financial literacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate management status reporting and adhere to cost‑control procedures.
