Sales Manager - Scaffolding

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a Sales Manager for scaffolding products in Dubai. The role covers sales achievement, gross profit management, customer and market management, forecasting and inventory control, sales reporting and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Meet annual sales volume targets from assigned and new customers and improve the quotation-to-order conversion ratio
• Promote and sell new products and variants approved by Product Development
• Achieve annual gross profit budgets through proper pricing and product mix, while complying with pricing policies and commercial terms
• Secure repeat orders from existing customers, grow business in target segments and maintain regular contact with market sources on competitors and projects
• Build long-term customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales and collection forecasts
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to minimise finished goods inventory, especially for 3P orders
• Ensure the full sales process runs efficiently from enquiry to payment collection
• Maintain up-to-date MIS and CRM entries for opportunities, orders and customer interactions
• Support the collections team to reduce overdue payments and prevent bad debts

Required profile

• Graduate in Science or Engineering (essential)
• Technical certifications, a Sales Management diploma or degree, and certifications in related technical or commercial fields are desirable; an MBA is an added advantage
• 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in UAE/GCC markets
• Proven sales or business development experience in engineering products (mechanical or electrical) and in products related to the construction industry
• Experience managing a team of Sales Executives
• Well-networked within the relevant industry or market
