About the role

ABB is seeking a Sales Specialist for the EPC channel to lead country sales for the Construction and Infrastructure segment in Dubai. The role focuses on driving revenue, expanding market share and building strong relationships with EPC contractors and end‑users for medium‑voltage electrification and distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, implement and review sales support strategies to achieve high hit‑rates and meet sales plans.
  • Drive the EPC sales strategy in collaboration with Business Line teams and understand key business drivers of customers.
  • Identify and map key decision‑makers, work closely with EPCs and end‑users for MV products and solutions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and develop appropriate response strategies.
  • Manage costs, set pricing and margins, and participate in major contract negotiations.
  • Identify and manage risks related to contracts, monitor customer financial status and report changes.
  • Ensure effective marketing communications and build strong customer relationships.
  • Follow governance and control guidelines, seeking approval for large bids as required.

Required profile

  • 8‑10 years of experience in EPC channel sales within the construction and infrastructure industry.
  • At least 5 years of front‑end sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering; MBA is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial practices and the medium‑voltage market.
