SAP ABAP Consultant

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join its Dubai team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for enhancing existing ABAP objects, designing modern SAP extensions, and ensuring high‑performance solutions that align with the clean core principle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design and document enhancements for ABAP objects.
• Design and develop CDS‑based modelling and perform performance tuning.
• Extend standard Fiori applications and migrate custom fields using custom logic.
• Design and build RAP‑based applications.
• Develop REST APIs to integrate SAP with external systems.
• Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Create event‑driven business object reports.
• Adhere to the clean core principle throughout development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, including RAP, Fiori, and CDS.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Ability to design and implement REST APIs and performance‑tuned solutions.
