SAP Architect

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑wide SAP solutions for a major IT services and consulting partner. The role covers the full SAP estate, including S/4HANA, BTP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Business Data Cloud and integration with Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the SAP solution roadmap and target state architecture across finance, procurement, HCM, supply chain and asset management.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions covering processes, integrations, extensions, data, security and non‑functional requirements.
• Act as technical authority for delivery teams and system integrators through build, testing, data migration and cut‑over.
• Design integration patterns using SAP Integration Suite, Azure Integration Services, API‑led and event‑driven approaches.
• Define migration and data strategies (greenfield, brownfield, selective) with focus on data quality and minimal disruption.
• Present architecture options, risks and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
• Identify and lead Agentic and Generative AI use cases, moving proofs of concept into production.

Required profile

• 10+ years in solution and technology architecture with multiple full‑lifecycle SAP implementations (S/4HANA preferred).
• Broad cross‑functional SAP expertise across finance, Ariba, SuccessFactors, supply chain, asset management and analytics.
• Strong knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, clean‑core principles, extensibility and SAP BTP services.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration tools such as S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and SAP Data Services.
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP, cloud deployment on Microsoft Azure and SAP licensing models.
• Experience with TOGAF or equivalent framework and designing for high‑transaction environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
