Scaffolding Designer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Designer to join our team and deliver safe, efficient scaffolding solutions for construction projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed scaffolding design drawings, layouts, and 3D models using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
• Develop structural calculations for various scaffolding systems, including suspended, cantilever, birdcage, and heavy‑duty scaffolds.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, UAE regulations, international standards, and safety requirements.
• Review construction drawings, identify scaffolding needs, and provide practical design solutions.
• Optimize designs for safety, stability, access, and material efficiency.
• Validate subcontractor designs, coordinate with project, engineering, construction, and HSE teams, and support site execution.
• Provide technical support during erection, modification, and dismantling, and prepare method statements, risk assessments, and calculations for approvals.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for design approvals and conduct site visits to verify compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in scaffolding design, preferably on UAE construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, structural calculations, and load assessments.
