Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager oversees managed security service delivery for multiple regional customers, acting as the primary security point of contact. The role blends customer relationship management, technical security expertise, incident coordination, reporting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer security requests, technical inquiries, operational issues and escalations, coordinating with SOC Engineering, Purple Team and Automation.
• Implement and maintain incident response playbooks, escalation procedures and alert‑handling instructions, and lead incident investigations and reporting.
• Communicate with customers throughout incident lifecycles, lead troubleshooting discussions and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
• Track requests through completion, conduct on‑demand meetings, and inform SOC of planned activities such as penetration tests.
• Lead monthly review meetings and deliver regular reports on security posture, achievements and future priorities.

Required profile

• Experience in SOC operations, incident response or managed security services with direct customer engagement.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical issues to both technical and management audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage competing priorities and maintain positive customer relationships during incidents.
• Residence in the UAE, goal‑oriented, proactive and able to work under stressful situations.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of SIEM and EDR platforms such as IBM QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike or Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of detection use cases, alert tuning, log source management, incident response playbooks and SOAR workflows.
• Ability to interpret security metrics, build dashboards and produce clear technical and executive reports.
